Can you believe that – Brands are (inadvertently) ignoring over half their fan’s social media posts! But, when fans do get a response to their posts, 80% of them went on to make a purchase as a result of the interaction. Amazing finding!

I think it’s always important to interact with your customers, no matter wherever they are, so that way they share their positive experience. But it’s really a sad thing that most brands don’t have a system in place or don’t place much emphasis on responding to their fans’ posts to show that they really care enough which is the MOST important aspect of any business.
Social media is in evolution for so many companies – it’s an area of marketing, public relation and customer relations, which has grown so rapidly, many businesses have not invested the resources to get up to speed quickly.
It is sad when you think – because companies and brand didn’t add more trained staff to be community managers on their social profiles, how much money they are going to lost or leaving money on the table.
